Welcome to DSI Academy, a Business Unit of DSI Partners! I am thrilled to be part of this project after two years of sabbatical immersion, when I had the opportunity to navigate outside the corporate world and find out the myriad of opportunities we have in front of our very eyes.
Yes, the future is here, the future has arrived and with it, all the worries that a VUCA world brings have now exponentially increased. Well, at DSI Academy we are ready to help our customers to cope with their concerns and to make the strategical transformational journey a reality while, at the same time, we prepare their teams to reach the next level of academical excellence.
A NEW ERA OF LEARNING
The new era of learning is here, where we will need to continue reinventing ourselves, grant employability for many more years and, on top of everything, learn continuously, the so-called lifelong learning journey. Learn new stuff, unlearn things that we do not need anymore and remove them from our heavy backpacks, and relearn things that need a new point of view, adjusted to our new realities.
We are the spectators of a time where conventional schools are continuously declining and new education, oriented to specific skills, sometimes “alla carta”, is thriving. Moreover, schools are already discussing and implementing the “self-service curriculum”, where the employee/student is cherry picking what is needed to shine in his/her career.
And while we see how cognitive training is becoming much more specific, task oriented, emotional skills are being trained and developed like never before. With robotics becoming more and more the new normal and taking a good chunk of repetitive, low value adding activities, we humans need to develop our emotional toolbox more than ever: teamwork, coping with failure, empathy, adaptability, resilience, among others, will be increasingly needed in order to cope with the new times.
